Caramel Nut Popcorn
Ingredients
- ½ Cup Popping Corn
- 5 Tablespoons oil
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- ¾ Cup Sugar
- 125 grams Butter
- ½ Cup Peanuts
Method
- Cook the popping corn as per the recipe on the packet
- Empty the popped corn into a large bowl and discard the un-popped kernels.
- Stir the honey, butter and sugar in a small pan over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- Once the sugar has dissolved boil uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the peanuts
- Pour the caramel mixture over the popped corn and mix until all the pop corn is covered.
- Spread the mixture over a large tray and allow to fully cool before breaking the caramel popcorn into pieces.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool and dry place.
