Enna's Italian meatballs
Ingredients

Tomato sauce
Method
- Place all meatball ingredient into a mixing bowl.
- Using a wooden spoon mix the ingredients until combined
- Form the meatballs and fry in a little olive oil on all sides until brown
- Remove the browned meatballs from the pan and set aside
- Gently fry the onion and garlic in a bit of olive oil in the same pan until soft
- Return the meatballs to the pan
- Add the passata, water, salt and pepper. Cover the pan
- Bring to boil and reduce the heat to a simmer
- Allow to simmer for 90 minutes covered
- Add more water if the sauce is too dry or remove the lid if it is to watery.
