Ingredients
150 grams butter1 cup cocoa powder4 eggs2 cups sugar1 teaspoon vanilla essence3/4 cup pain flour1 teaspoon baking powder1 packet white choc bitsMethod
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Line the base of a 27 x 18cm tin with baking paper.
- Melt the butter and stir in the cocoa powder, allow to cool slightly.
- Beat in the eggs then stir in the sugar and vanilla.
- Sift flour and baking powder together. Add to the mixture and stir until thoroughly mixed. Stir through the white choc bits.
- Pour mixture into the prepared tin and bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until just firm in the centre.
- Leave in the tin for 20 minutes to cool slightly before cutting.
Substitute
You can replace the white choc bits with walnuts or dark choc bits.
